Director's Staff

The Director's Staff has several
functions. The first is to provide fellowship and fun for the members and
their guests. Second is to assist the Shrine and Potentate in any functions or
Shrine related activity. Third is to work to support the Shriner's Hospitals
for burned or crippled children.
Fellowship and fun for
the members and their guests
Each month on the second Thursday at 6:00 p.m. there is a meal provided for all members and guests. After the meal the men have the unit meeting.
We assist the Shrine Center
and Potentate in Shrine functions
Only one unit is required by each Shrine Center. That is the Director's Staff. (There are many good units at Araba, but only one is required.) The Director's Staff is responsible for the second section of the ceremonial. The Director's Staff was the first Unit to hold their own convention where Staff members from all over North America convened and held competition in their specialty. What a great way to see the country as well as getting to gain new friends all over the continent. The Shrine Directors Convention was held in Tampa, Florida in the year 2000.
